Meet the Swish Dental Team

After graduating from NYU and University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey (UMDNJ), Dr. Viraj Desai wanted to establish an Austin dental practice that focused as much on quality care as patient comfort. She made the move from NYC to Austin, and SWISH Dental came to be. When she’s not in the office, Dr. Desai loves to explore Austin’s outdoors and thriving music scene. She is also a practicing yogi, fashion connoisseur, & avid traveler.

After growing up in North Carolina and Virginia and attending dental school in Boston, Dr. Brendan Loehr made the move to Austin to find the perfect work/life balance. He is committed to providing the highest quality dental care in a patient-centered environment. He loves connecting with his patients on a personal level and helping them achieve their dental goals. Dr. Loehr has extensive experience with full mouth cosmetic procedures, as well as Invisalign and family dentistry.

When not working, you can find him training around the Austin area for his next big race. He has completed the Boston Marathon and competed in the Kona Ironman Championships twice.

As a Swish Smile Artist, Dr. Audrey Lawson is committed to putting patient care and comfort first. Dr. Lawson completed her undergrad studies at LSU (Geaux Tigers!) before graduating from the University of Louisville School of Dentistry and moving to Austin to join the Swish team. Dr. Lawson devotes much of her time to developing a connection with her patients and has a passion for improving their lives and smiles.

Prior to dental school, Dr. Lawson devoted much of her time to athletics so outside of work, you’ll often find her running on Lady Bird Lake!

Dr. Andrew Hatashima was born and raised in Hawaii on the island of Oahu. His interest in dentistry started by playing high school football because his coach was a dentist. Seeking a change of scenery, he moved to Pennsylvania where he achieved his Bachelor’s degree in molecular biology at The University of Pittsburgh and his Doctorate of Medicine in Dentistry at Temple University in Philadelphia. After 10 years of life and education on the East Coast, he decided to move a bit closer to home and is definitely enjoying the warmer weather. He strives to provide the highest level of dental care to patients in a comfortable and relaxed setting. To further his knowledge in dentistry, he has also taken continuing education courses in dental implants and root canal treatment.

Hailing from the bluegrass of Kentucky, Dr. Stone started off by getting his bachelors and masters in Bioengineering at the University of Louisville before getting his Doctorate in Dental Medicine degree at the University of Kentucky College of Dentistry. Dr. Stone followed his family down to Texas after school, and has enjoyed the warm weather and BBQ ever since. Dr. Stone loves working with the latest technology in dentistry to give his patients the best care possible, and works to make every patient feel at home in his office. The goal for Dr. Stone is to make every patient excited to come to the dentist, rather than dread it.

Outside of the office, Dr. Stone spends his time traveling around the world, including Paris, Munich, and Austria, as well as competing in cycling and CrossFit events. You can find Dr. Stone down on Lady Bird Lake in the summer paddle boarding, or at a concert at Moody Theater.

Dr. Sarah returned home to Austin after graduating from Baylor University and the University of Texas School of Dentistry at Houston. During her time in dental school, Dr. Sarah was the Recipient of the ADA Ninth District Dental Society Professional Collegiality Award.

She strives to provide her patients with comfortable, comprehensive dental care implementing the latest technology. She loves getting to know her patients and can’t wait to help you with your smile!

Outside of work, Dr. Sarah enjoys trying out new restaurants, working out, and spending time with her family.

Dr. Clayton Nguyen was born and raised in Austin, Texas - a true Austinite!  He completed his undergraduate studies at the University of Texas in Austin with a degree in Biochemistry. It was during his time at UT where he developed his passion for dentistry and made it his mission to promote healthy and happy smiles. He went on to complete his Doctorate of Dental Surgery degree at the University of Texas School of Dentistry at Houston, where he was the Communications & Social Media chair for his school’s ASDA chapter and a Recipient of the ADA Ninth District Dental Society Professional Collegiality Award. Dr. Clayton is committed to getting to know his patients and providing the best care!

In his free time, Dr. Clayton enjoys traveling, binge watching television shows, trying new restaurants and spending time with his family and friends.

Dr. Patel was born in Houston, Texas and raised in Atlanta, Georgia. He attended the University of Georgia (UGA) for his undergraduate degree, and then completed his dental education at Tufts University School of Dental Medicine in Boston, Massachusetts. Dr. Patel’s passion for dentistry comes from its blend of science and art. He loves to help patients rebuild their smiles and confidence. During his time at Tufts, Dr. Patel was trained in comprehensive care and was awarded the AGD General Dentist Award for his ability to connect with patients and provide great care. Out of the office, you’ll find him traveling, working out, exploring new restaurants, and playing basketball.

Meet Dr. Noor Makda, your Austin dentist with a heart as big as the Lone Star State! Armed with a Bachelor of Science in Psychology from the University of Texas at Austin, a Masters in Medical Science from the University of North Texas Health Science Center, and a diploma from The University of Oklahoma College of Dentistry, she's your go-to smile magician. Excitement is an understatement for Dr. Noor as she kickstarts her dental adventure in Austin, bringing sunshine and pearly whites to the capital city. Whether it's general dentistry or crafting cosmetic miracles, she's on a journey of constant growth and learning. Beyond the dental chair, you'll find Dr. Noor diving into eclectic cuisines, mastering pickleball moves, and soaking up the Texas sun. Oh, and did we mention she's a certified cat enthusiast? Nebula and Dante, her two feline buddies, hold the key to her heart—and yes, she might just have a photo album dedicated to their cuteness. Ready to smile brighter with Dr. Noor?

Dr. Victoria was born in Corpus Christi and raised in Spring, TX. She attended the University of the Incarnate Word where she played D1 tennis and then completed dental school at UT Health San Antonio. She speaks fluent Spanish and is part Puerto Rican, Colombian, and Lebanese. She enjoys finding new coffee shops and restaurants and is a total foodie.

Dr. Rebekah Salinas is a South Texas native from Corpus Christi, Texas. She received both a Bachelors in Science in Biology followed by a Masters in Science in Molecular Pathology at Texas Tech University. In her undergraduate years her passion for dentistry and patient care developed while volunteering at a free community dental clinic. She then received her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the UT Health San Antonio School of Dentistry where she was awarded the Omicron Kappa Upsilon Award for Outstanding Achievement in Research and graduated with a Distinction in Research.

Dr. Bekah is committed to lifelong learning to provide the best possible patient care and remains eager to complete continuing education courses and staying up to date with the latest innovations in dentistry.  She strives to provide a positive, stress-free patient experience and tend to each patient's specific needs. Her favorite aspect of dentistry is the ability to improve patients' overall health and well-being through excellent dental care!

After dental school, Dr. Bekah moved with her fiancé and their two beloved cats (Princess Buttercup and Oreo) to Austin with the intention of calling the unique, vibrant city their forever home. In her spare time, she loves to try out new restaurants, enjoy the live music events of Austin, and spend time with family and friends.

Dr. Arti is from Wisconsin and pursued her undergraduate studies at the University of Wisconsin. Her journey led her to New York City, where she earned her dental degree from NYU College of Dentistry. Following this, she honed her skills through a comprehensive general practice residency at Montefiore Medical Center in the Bronx. Driven by her passion for ensuring top-notch dental care, she strives to create a welcoming and relaxing atmosphere for her patients. She enjoys traveling, fashion, exploring new restaurants, and spending time with friends and family.

Dr. Marx is a graduate from the University of Buffalo, School of Dental Medicine, where she focused on pediatric dentistry and removable prosthodontics. Upon graduating cum laude, she was presented the Merit Award from distinct recognition of Removable Denture Prosthodontics in May of 2002. Dr. Marx continued her education with a one-year general practice residency at St. Clare’s Hospital in Schenectady, NY (the same hospital she was born in) to give back to the community that helped start her life. Prior to Buffalo, Dr. Marx spent three years at the State University of New York at Binghamton, Harpur School, where she graduated magna cum laude, with a Bachelor of Science in Biology.

While in New York, Dr. Marx was heavily involved in organized dentistry and served on several committees. She was previously the Schenectady County Representative for the Fourth District and was currently serving as the Secretary of the Fourth District in New York (and was planning on moving up the chairs) prior to moving to her beautiful new home of Spicewood, Texas. Dr. Marx maintains her membership with the American Dental Association and is looking forward to becoming involved with the Texas Dental Association and Capital Area Dental Association as well.

Dr. Marx was in private practice full-time for 16 years in upstate New York, and in that time also became happily married with 2 children (currently 16 and 17 years old) who are finishing high school at Lake Travis. The decision to relocate to Austin was made as a family.

Her values and beliefs have stayed the same throughout the years: Listen to what your patients want, listen to what your patients need, and make those things fit in the most functional, esthetic, and cost-effective treatment course of action so the plan works, including in house extractions and root canal therapy.

Meet Dr. Kristen Ferrante, a general and cosmetic dentist who is all about giving you a smile that lights up the room. She provides exceptional comprehensive dental care and beautiful cosmetic results, and her passion for conservative dentistry shines through in every appointment. She's not just about fixing teeth; she's dedicated to creating healthy smiles that last a lifetime.Having earned her Bachelor of Science in Cell and Molecular Biology from The University of Texas at Austin and her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from The University of Texas Health Science Center in San Antonio, Dr. Ferrante possesses a wealth of knowledge and experience, including her contributions to research on treating Oral Squamous Cell Carcinoma as well as her research on dental ceramics. She is also a member of the American Dental Association, Capital Area Dental Society, and is certified by the American Academy of Facial Esthetics. When she's not in the office, you'll find Dr. Ferrante traveling or enjoying quality time with her family and her adorable Maltipoo, Otis. So, whether you're due for a cleaning or dreaming of a smile makeover, Dr. Kristen Ferrante is here to make your dental experience as enjoyable as possible.

Originally from Kentucky, Dr. Davis moved to Texas at 8 years old. At the age of 16, he discovered his love of dentistry and spent as much time as he could at his local dental office shadowing, assisting, and learning. Dr. Davis attended the University of Texas at Tyler where he was part of their conference winning Cross Country and Track and Field teams while earning a B.S. in Biology with a minor in Chemistry.
Dr. Davis obtained a Doctorate of Dental Medicine at Midwestern University-Illinois. While there, he expanded his skills as a leader by being his class’s liaison to the school’s Administration and teaching his fellow students on new dental technology. Dr. Davis continues to mentor new dentists, broadening his knowledge of dentistry, and providing quality dental care and oral health education to his patients.
In his spare time, Dr. Davis enjoys running, reading, spending time with his close friends and family, and cheering on the Houston Texans!

Dr. Sunesara graduated with a Bachelor's degree in Biology from Houston Baptist University and earned her dental degree from Midwestern University in Illinois. Having returned to Texas, she has made Austin her home. Dr. Sunesara's passion for the arts, combined with her love for science, led her to pursue a career in dentistry. She is dedicated to educating and informing her patients on how to achieve optimal oral health. Understanding the challenges patients might face in the dental chair, she strives to create a comfortable and approachable environment. Dr. Sunesara is committed to staying updated with the latest advances in dentistry to provide quality and effective dental treatment. Outside of the office, Dr. Sunesara enjoys spending quality time with her family and friends. She also loves traveling and exploring Austin's diverse food culture.

Dr. Mike Asay owned and operated his family dental practice in the Austin area for over 15 years. He has extensive experience in all aspects of general dentistry including surgical extractions, Invisalign, and root canal treatments. He grew up in the Dallas area and graduated from Baylor College of Dentistry in 2006. He moved his family to the Austin area in 2007 when he started his dental practice. The most rewarding parts of dentistry for him are meeting so many fascinating people, helping patients feel comfortable in the dental chair, and providing excellent care. He is a huge fan of the live music scene in Austin and attends as many concerts as he can. When he gets time off, he loves to spend it with his family in Costa Rica, hiking, surfing, and relaxing on the beach.

Dr. Amanda Marmurek was born and raised in Plano, Texas. She attended The University of Texas at Austin (Hook 'em!), where she earned a BS in Communication Studies. She then pursued her dental education at The University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio where she finished in the top of her class and graduated with a distinction in dental education. While in school, she was awarded The McGuff award which is "given to an exceptional senior dental student who has best demonstrated remarkable integration of oral and maxillofacial pathology into the practice of general dentistry."  She was also the events chair for the American Student Dental Association, a tutor to younger dental students, and played intramural sand volleyball. Dr. Marmurek is so excited to be living in Austin again and serving the Austin community.

Dr. Marmurek has a passion for learning and provides the highest level of care for her patients while making sure they feel respected, comfortable, and heard. She is a people person and says getting to know her patients is one of the best parts of being a dentist.

When Dr. Marmurek isn’t in the office, you can find her eating Tex Mex, at the movies, reading, traveling, and crafting. Dr. Marmurek is a huge Texas Longhorns and Dallas Cowboys football fan. Dr. Marmurek ran her first half marathon in October 2023, and plans to run another in October 2024.

Originally from Egypt, Dr. Rofaeil moved to Texas with her immediate family when she was 9. She completed her undergraduate degree at the University of Notre Dame where she majored in Chemistry. She went on to obtain her doctorate from the University of Pennsylvania. She was eager to learn more about comprehensively treating patients so she completed a general practice residency at St. Luke’s hospital in Pennsylvania. After enduring the winter weather for 9 years, Dr. Rofaeil was excited to return to Texas closer to family to start practicing. She enjoys treating patients comprehensively while educating them throughout every procedure. Her approach blends technical skill with compassion, always striving to create a comfortable and caring environment for anyone who walks through the door. Dr. Rofaeil is also committed to continuously expanding her knowledge and skills, regularly taking continuing education courses to stay-up-to date with the latest advancements.

In her personal life, Dr. Rofaeil values time spent with family and friends. When she’s not working, she enjoys running, watching football, and cooking. Her passion for her profession and personal life shapes the positive, patient-centered care she provides.

Born and raised in Nebraska, Dr. Delaney Springer earned her undergraduate degree at the University of Nebraska–Lincoln before completing her dental education at UNMC College of Dentistry. After finishing school, she made the move to Austin and has been loving the sunshine, great food, and warm community ever since. She’s passionate about creating a welcoming, judgment-free space where patients feel comfortable and cared for. Whether it’s a routine visit or a more involved procedure, she works to make each experience smooth, personalized, and as stress-free as possible.

Outside the office, you’ll likely find her exploring new neighborhoods, trying local restaurants, or curled up with a good movie. She also shares life with her Portuguese Water Dog, Rory, who keeps her active and always entertained. Whether she’s out on a walk or planning her next weekend getaway, she’s always finding ways to stay curious, stay moving, and stay connected to her new home in Austin.

Meet Dr. Anastasia Compton! Originally from the bootheel of Missouri near Cape Girardeau, Dr. Compton earned her degree in biochemistry from the University of Missouri before completing her Doctor of Dental Surgery at UMKC School of Dentistry in Kansas City. After a lifetime in Missouri, she was ready for a change, so when her husband matched at UT-Austin for his medical residency, it was the perfect opportunity to make a move. Dr. Compton soon found Swish, a clinic that shares her passion for compassionate, patient-centered care.

Outside the clinic, Dr. Compton enjoys exploring new places and strolling through Austin’s parks with her husband and their orange cat, Mango. She is always on the lookout for great local food spots, so feel free to share your favorites when you visit!

Dr. Matthew Monks was born and raised in Houston, TX. He received his Bachelors degree in Biology from the University of Texas at Austin, while also working as an Orthodontic assistant. He then went on to receive his Doctorate of Dental Surgery degree from Texas A&M College of Dentistry in Dallas, Texas. Dr. Monks is passionate about providing excellent, patient-focused dental care that prioritizes comfort, trust, and individualized treatment. He has a strong interest in cosmetic dentistry and enjoys the transformative impact it can have on both a patient’s appearance and self-esteem.

Outside of the office, you can find Dr. Monks spending quality time with friends and family, exploring new spots in Austin, and cheering on The Texas Longhorns (Hook ‘Em!).

Dr. Prabhakar was born and raised in Plano, Texas. She earned her B.S. in Healthcare Studies from UT Dallas, followed by a Master’s in Medical Science from the University of North Texas Health Science Center. She then completed her D.D.S. at Texas A&M College of Dentistry, where she was honored with the Outstanding Dental Student in Implant Dentistry award by the Academy of Osseointegration and the Scholastic Honors award by the school.

Dr. Prabhakar is passionate about delivering high quality, patient centered care and strives to make every visit a positive, comfortable experience. Her goal is to ensure each patient feels heard, valued, and confident in their treatment. She is so excited to be serving the Austin community!

After dental school, she relocated to Austin with her husband and their sweet golden retriever, Ellie! Outside the office, she enjoys hiking and working out, trying out new recipes, and spending time with family and friends.

Dr. Don Petty was born in Dallas, Texas, but grew up in San Antonio. He earned his bachelor’s degree in biology at the University of Texas at San Antonio, and his DDS/DMD at Howard University College of Dentistry.

Dr. Petty entered the dental field because of an early connection that was nurtured from a young age. With a mother and an aunt both practicing dentists, his passion for the field shows with each patient as he treats them all as his own family. His favorite aspect of dentistry is helping others understand their dental health and offering a compassionate, safe place for patients to address their dental anxieties.

Outside of the office, Dr. Petty enjoys his family and every aspect that brings. Father of five wonderful children, he and his wife stay busy handling the unique challenges raising kids can be in this day and age.

Dr. Bains was born and raised in the suburbs of Chicago. She earned both her Bachelor of Science and Master of Science degrees before completing her Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) at Midwestern University in Illinois. After dental school, she moved to Texas to be closer to family and enjoy the southern hospitality.

A lifelong art enthusiast, Dr. Bains found the perfect intersection of her passions in dentistry—where art meets healthcare. Dr. Bains is dedicated to providing the highest level of dental care. She strives to meet the unique needs of every patient in a relaxed, welcoming environment, while building lasting relationships.

Outside of her work, Dr. Bains enjoys creating artwork, traveling, and spending time with her family.

Dr. Trace Matthews was born and raised in Alabama where he received his Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees from Auburn University (War Eagle!). He then received his Doctor of Dental Medicine degree from Tufts University School of Dental Medicine in Boston, Massachusetts and Advanced Education in General Dentistry certificate through UTHealth Houston School of Dentistry in Houston, Texas. Dr. Matthews is passionate about providing comprehensive care for patients and helping create healthy, confident smiles. Outside of dentistry, Dr. Matthews enjoys being active, cooking, reading, and exploring Texas.

Born and raised in El Paso, Texas, Dr. Fernandez completed her undergraduate studies at Texas A&M University before earning her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the Texas A&M College of Dentistry in Dallas. During dental school, she was deeply involved in student organizations and received the Outstanding Senior Award from the Texas Dental Association in recognition of her leadership and service.

Dr. Fernandez is passionate about helping others and was drawn to dentistry by the meaningful impact it can have on patients’ lives. She enjoys building relationships with her patients and strives to provide the highest level of care and most comfortable experience for everyone.

As a new resident of Austin, she is excited to explore everything the city has to offer, from outdoor adventures to its incredible food scene. Outside of work she enjoys trying new places, traveling, and spending quality time with friends and family!

Dr. Christian Beard graduated from Brigham Young University with a degree in Microbiology and earned his Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) from Oregon Health & Science University. As an Austin native, Dr. Beard was excited to return home to be close to family and serve the community he grew up in. He is committed to patient-focused care and values creating genuine connections with his patients.

Outside the office, Dr. Beard enjoys outdoor hobbies including rock climbing, hiking, and boating on Lake Travis. He is also learning to play golf. His love of learning drives his dedication to staying up to date with the latest dental technologies, techniques, and delivering high-quality dental care.

Dr. Elaheh Askari’s journey in dentistry began long before she ever held a dental instrument — it started in the patient’s chair. Having spent much of her childhood as a dental patient, she developed a deep empathy for others’ experiences and a desire to make dentistry more comfortable, gentle, and personal.

That passion guided her through an exceptional educational path. Dr. Askari earned her Doctor of Dental Medicine degree from the University of Pennsylvania, graduating in the top 10% of her class. She also holds two additional dental degrees from different countries, an experience that allowed her to study in three languages and treat patients from a wide range of cultures and backgrounds.After completing her training, Dr. Askari made Austin her home. Here, she has dedicated her career to providing compassionate, high-quality dental care rooted in understanding, precision, and respect for every patient’s individual needs. Her diverse background has shaped her inclusive and patient-centered approach, helping each person feel at ease while achieving their healthiest smile.In addition to clinical care, Dr. Askari remains passionate about research and community service. She has published work on COVID-19, dental implants, and orofacial development at the University of Pennsylvania, and she actively volunteers in outreach programs that expand access to oral health care.Outside the office, Dr. Askari enjoys an active and creative lifestyle. Her free time often includes morning workouts, paddle boarding, exploring art and music, discovering new restaurants, traveling, and learning to play golf.

Dr. Miraal Hussain brings a rare combination of precision, professionalism, and passion to the world of dentistry—because before she was perfecting smiles, she was analyzing spreadsheets as a Certified Public Accountant. With a keen eye for detail and a heart for helping others, she made the bold leap from finance to dentistry to pursue a career that aligned with her purpose: making people feel confident in their smiles. After years in the corporate world, Dr. Hussain traded her calculator for a dental handpiece and hasn’t looked back. Her journey through dental school at UTHealth School of Dentistry - Houston was driven by a deep dedication to excellence. Dr. Hussain offers care that’s thorough, thoughtful, and tailored to each patient.

Beyond the dental chair, Dr. Hussain lives life to the fullest. She loves playing tennis, exploring the latest fashion trends, and traveling the world one destination at a time. With Dr. Miraal Hussain, you’re not just getting a skilled dentist—you’re meeting someone who brings heart, style, and a global perspective to everything she does.

Dr. Linh Dao was raised in sunny Southern California, where her passion for helping others and her appreciation for aesthetics took root early. She earned her Bachelor’s degree in Sociology from UCLA, cultivating a deep understanding of human connection and behavior — a perspective that continues to shape her patient-centered approach to dentistry.

Motivated by both curiosity and commitment to excellence, Dr. Dao pursued advanced education at the University of North Carolina at Greensboro (UNCG) for post-baccalaureate study, followed by a Master’s in Biomedical Science from Barry University in Miami, FL. She went on to earn her Doctor of Dental Medicine (D.M.D.) degree from Tufts School of Dental Medicine in Boston, where she refined both the clinical skills and artistic precision that define her work today.

As a proud member of the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry (AACD), Dr. Dao remains on the leading edge of cosmetic dental techniques, delivering aesthetic excellence with every smile makeover.

As part of her comprehensive approach to dentistry, Dr. Dao is certified in facial aesthetics, offering Botox and dermal fillers designed to enhance natural beauty and facial harmony. She is also trained in Frontline TMJ / Orofacial Pain Trigger Point Therapy. Known for her meticulous eye and subtle approach, Dr. Dao helps patients look and feel their best — from teeth to temple.

Outside the office, Dr. Dao is dedicated to personal wellness through Solid-Core Pilates and enjoys exploring Houston’s dynamic food and culture scene.

Dr. Stella Lee originally grew up in Carlisle, Pennsylvania and attended college at Case Western Reserve University in Cleveland, Ohio. During college, she developed an interest in dentistry and completed her masters degree in oral health from Rutgers University in Newark, NJ. She then went on to receive her dental degree from Tufts University School of Dental Medicine in Boston, MA. She practiced dentistry in Chicago, IL until she fell in love with Austin while visiting and decided to move to the Austin area. She is thrilled about her new life in Texas and is honored to serve this community.

Dr. Lee is a member of the American Dental Association, Texas Dental Association, and stays active in learning through continuing education courses with a special interest in cosmetic dentistry. She understands the importance of a beautiful confident smile and offers invisalign. She also makes patient comfort her priority and provides oral conscious sedation with her dentistry.

In her spare time, Dr. Lee enjoys traveling the world, baking sweets, and practicing yoga. She also loves spending time at home with her husband and son!

Meet Dr. Shane, your Houston dentist with South Texas roots and a passion for creating unforgettable smiles. Born and raised in Brownsville, Texas, right on the border by the sea, Dr. Shane brings the warmth, culture, and family spirit of his hometown into everything he does.

He earned his Bachelor of Science in Biomedical Sciences from the University of Texas Rio Grande Valley, then went on to the University of Texas School of Dentistry, where he served as President of the dental fraternity. After earning his doctorate, Dr. Shane completed an Advanced Education in General Dentistry (AEGD) at UT, sharpening his skills across all aspects of dentistry.

Dr. Shane loves every part of the field, but his real passion is cosmetic dentistry—helping patients achieve their dream smiles while transforming how they experience dental care. His philosophy? Growing up on Duck Lake, MI, Dr. Shafer had the unique experience of living next door to his family dentist. That early exposure, combined with his passion for both science and art, inspired his path into dentistry—a perfect blend of the medical field and creativity. In high school, Dr. Shafer was part of an advanced art program, and as he explored careers, dentistry stood out as a way to combine precision, artistry, and care. He completed his undergraduate studies at Michigan State University, where he joined the Pre-Dental Club and deepened his commitment to the field. Dr. Shafer went on to earn his Doctor of Dental Medicine degree from the University of Louisville School of Dentistry. His goal is to help patients feel confident and healthy through compassionate, personalized dental care. He truly believes that oral health plays a vital role in overall well-being, and he strives to ensure every patient receives the highest quality treatment in a comfortable environment. Outside the office, he enjoys spending time on the water, golfing, watching sports, and being with his close friends and family. Whether he’s working or relaxing, he always brings a smile and hopes to help you do the same.

For over a decade, Dr. Sarah Eubank has been practicing dentistry with a special interest in cosmetic, functional, rehabilitative, and TMJ dentistry. She completed her undergraduate degree with honors from Baylor University and went on to receive her Doctorate of Dental Surgery from The University of Texas School of Dentistry in Houston.

Dr. Eubank has an eye for aesthetics and a highly meticulous approach, allowing her to create beautiful, custom smiles designed to last a lifetime. She is proficient in all phases of complex restorative dentistry, cosmetic dentistry, TMJ treatment, Invisalign®, and comprehensive general dentistry.

Dr. Eubank is committed to staying at the forefront of modern dentistry through advanced training and continuing education. She has trained dentists from around the world in cosmetic procedures, smile design, and bite balancing at the renowned Eubank Teaching Institute and has taught alongside her father at the UCLA Cosmetic Continuum in Los Angeles. She is currently completing her mastership in physiologic and neuromuscular dentistry at The Las Vegas Institute for Advanced Dental Studies.

Dr. Eubank believes it is essential to integrate her in-depth knowledge of all facets of dentistry to deliver “the right fit” treatment for each unique patient — diagnosing and treating the source of pain, bite issues, or cosmetic concerns. Her treatment philosophy ensures each patient receives a customized solution for lasting results, whether enhancing a natural smile or restoring function.
