Dr. Viraj Desai DMD
After graduating from NYU and University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey (UMDNJ), Dr. Viraj Desai wanted to establish an Austin dental practice that focused as much on quality care as patient comfort. She made the move from NYC to Austin, and SWISH Dental came to be. When she’s not in the office, Dr. Desai loves to explore Austin’s outdoors and thriving music scene. She is also a practicing yogi, fashion connoisseur, & avid traveler.
Dr. Linh Dao M.Sc, DMD
Dr. Linh Dao was raised in sunny Southern California, where her passion for helping others and her appreciation for aesthetics took root early. She earned her Bachelor’s degree in Sociology from UCLA, cultivating a deep understanding of human connection and behavior — a perspective that continues to shape her patient-centered approach to dentistry.
Motivated by both curiosity and commitment to excellence, Dr. Dao pursued advanced education at the University of North Carolina at Greensboro (UNCG) for post-baccalaureate study, followed by a Master’s in Biomedical Science from Barry University in Miami, FL. She went on to earn her Doctor of Dental Medicine (D.M.D.) degree from Tufts School of Dental Medicine in Boston, where she refined both the clinical skills and artistic precision that define her work today.
As a proud member of the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry (AACD), Dr. Dao remains on the leading edge of cosmetic dental techniques, delivering aesthetic excellence with every smile makeover.
As part of her comprehensive approach to dentistry, Dr. Dao is certified in facial aesthetics, offering Botox and dermal fillers designed to enhance natural beauty and facial harmony. She is also trained in Frontline TMJ / Orofacial Pain Trigger Point Therapy. Known for her meticulous eye and subtle approach, Dr. Dao helps patients look and feel their best — from teeth to temple.
Outside the office, Dr. Dao is dedicated to personal wellness through Solid-Core Pilates and enjoys exploring Houston’s dynamic food and culture scene.
